Ridge selected for Embassy Court

Mixed use scheme in Kent: 30 January 2009

Ridge has been appointed and retained by Albourne Developments (RDP) Ltd on the £20million mixed use scheme at Embassy Court in Welling, Kent. Ridge will be acting as Construction Design Management Coordinator, as well as being the appointed QS. O’Halloran & O’Brien have been selected as main contractor.

The scheme consists of 64 residential units with associated parking and a 75,000 sq ft (6970 sq m) retail element with basement car parking for customers, which has been pre-let to Tesco. The scheme’s first sectional completion is due in summer 2010, with the remainder completing in autumn 2010.

It is always an advantage to be providing both QS and CDM-C services on a project as this provides consistency and enhanced knowledge of a scheme.”
