Bridgewater House Wins Award
Success at the Inside Housing Awards:

Our entry for “Sustainable Larger Housing Retrofit Project of the Year” – Bridgewater House for South Northants Homes was the outright winner on Friday 21 October at the Sustainable Housing Awards in London attended by over 600 of the great and the good from the Housing Sector.
Bridgewater House is the first retro-fit of its kind to introduce such a wide variety of energy-saving technologies in a single sheltered housing block for the elderly. It is unique in terms of the scale of the renewable technologies delivered within such a renovation programme.
The previously basic style accommodation of 33 homes with storage and panel heating has been transformed into 29 modern units of future-proofed specialised accommodation, all fitted with solar thermal technology, ground source heat pumps and photovoltaics.
This is a great example of Ridge providing an A-Z service which started with our Property Consultancy team setting the strategy for South Northants Homes through to successful delivery by the Ridge project team and concluding with this award and most importantly another happy customer!
