Oxford City CouncilRidge has worked with Oxford City Council on a programme of refurbishment and new build of city leisure facilities, which have included: Barton PoolNew build 4 lane swimming pool, changing village, multi-purpose function room, viewing area and associated services and external works. Blackbird Leys Leisure CentreRefurbishment of the existing Leisure Centre and new extension to enhance the local areas sport and leisure facilities. The extension will form a Community Hall, which combined with the existing facility will provide a significant Community space. The refurbishment includes rearrangement and upgrading of the Entrance Area and Café. and a hot food kitchen is also being provided. The existing Family Zone, Offices and Gymnasium are being refurbished and the internal circulation rationalised. The internal finishes and signage are being renewed to be consistent with a new corporate image for all Oxford City Council leisure facilities. The mechanical and electrical services are being upgraded including the services to the Main Sports Hall. Ferry Sports Centre An extensive and complicated refurbishment and extension of the Sports Centre including the addition of a gymnasium, dance studio and viewing area and refurbishment of swimming pools, changing village, squash courts and sports hall, associated services renewal and external works. |
