Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust

Ridge has a long standing relationship with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and has been appointed on many recent projects including:

  • New Clinical Diagnostic Unit, Saint Mary's Hospital London: The facility was created within the existing hospital and comprising 12 new beds, nurses station, treatment rooms and patient ablutions.
  • QEQM Building major electrical upgrade: It was required to remain fully operational during the works, with supply maintained at all times to all operating theatres, intensive care facilities, accident & emergency and high-dependency beds.
  • Jefferiss Wing re-wiring works: Specialist Labs and offices were required to be maintained in operation at all time. The works had to be carried out predominantly out of hours and in eight phases. This involved compartmentalisation of each phase with each room having its own distribution boards, and a new 3-phase essential power supply was incorporated into the design.
  • Outpatients, Refurbishment, St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington: To provide an out-patients reception, consulting rooms, phlebotomy outpatients clinic, a pharmacy dispensary incoprorating a dispensing robot, fit out of medical records office and café.
  • New “Save the Baby Unit”: Brings together the Hospital’s miscarriage team, the fertility team, the nurse practitioners and laboratory staff enabling them to work together in one unit under one roof. It is a research facility also offering outpatient care. The space, originally a coach house, now listed, is part of the ground floor of the existing Hospital. Former offices and disused laboratories were refurbished into the new Unit.
