Kings Hotel, DarlingtonIn August 2008, this Grade 2 listed 86-bed hotel in the centre of Darlington suffered a major fire on one of the upper floors. This led to extensive damage to the main roof structure and upper floors. Ridge are providing a multi discipline service to our client in order to restore the building to its former glory. Ridge has been appointed to reinstate a variety of buildings following major fires. We have been required to undertake inspections to schedule the damage, arrange for contractors to undertake work to limit further damage and undertake the clean-up operation and then prepare specifications and drawings to allow the buildings to be rebuilt.
