Parkcity Hotel, LondonRidge was commissioned as Planning Supervisors on this hotel refurbishment. The scope of works included the total strip out of the building (including the removal of a significant amount of asbestos) and refurbishment. The hotel is located in a busy street in the Earls Court area of London. This meant that we had to liaise closely with both the designers and contractors to ensure the health and safety of not only those working in the site, but those who lived and worked nearby. Due to business pressures, the deadline for the completion of the Project was crucial and could not be moved. As a result, many trades were working simultaneously on site to ensure this happened. This needed close co-ordination to ensure the health and safety of all operatives on site was fully considered without compromising the project program.
