Stadium & Conference Facilities, OxfordOxford United previously had a site, The Manor Ground, located in Headington - a busy city location suffering congestion at peak times. Like many city centre grounds, the club decided to relocate to an edge-of-city location which allows greater transport links and provide a state-of-the-art all-seater stadium. The scheme provides 3 stands, the main one located on the south side of the pitch. This South Stand includes the seated spectator area, players area, foyer and a 3,000 sq. ft exhibition area, a 750 seat conference centre and a 450 seat banqueting suite. The conference centre, The Quadrangle, is a glass fronted entrance to the stadium, which houses the reception and conference centre, and is Oxfords largest conference and exhibition facility. There are also 30 executive boxes which provide dining for ten people and a private balcony from which to view the action. Oxford Leisure & Firoka Health ClubFurther developments at the stadium site have created a new 19,000 sq metre, multi use leisure facility comprising, bowling, bingo, gym, cinema screens, swimming pool and retail areas, which Ridge also helped to bring into being.
