Red Bull F1 Racing HeadquartersRidge has a long history with this headquarters building from is conversion for the Stewart Grand Prix Team to its current users Red Bull Formula 1. The latest project consisted of the radical restructuring of the layout of the team headquarters at Milton Keynes. The project was faced with two potential problems from the outset: a very tight programme, and the need to keep a high-tech factory running throughout the construction period. Careful phasing of a plan of work and maintaining excellent communication channels directly with the building users kept the factory functioning, during the restructuring. A fully refurbished drawing office with ample space for 140 engineers was created and as part of the new machining and composites manufacturing area, a number of clean rooms were installed to ISO 4 (10,000) and ISO 5 (100,000) standards. The new gym makes innovative use of the limited space to provide a state-of-the-art facility for the staff to use. |
