Protecting assets
Ridge have several long term framework agreements and long standing planned maintenance commissions for key Private and Public Sector Clients, including Hotel Groups, Local Authorities, Police Constabularies and Housing Associations.
Our service includes:
Pre-construction
- Advise Clients on the type of planned maintenance Survey required
- Set up bespoke electronic database system for survey data collection
- Assist with management of surveys by Ridge staff, or others
- Review survey report data and advise Client on prioritise
- Assisting Clients with budget builds
- Assisting Clients with preparing 5,10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year maintenance plans
- Advising on life cycle maintenance planning
- Advise on procurement routes for undertaking remedial works (tender packages/MTC's)
- Prepare tender documentation (traditional or output specification)
- Assist Client in selection of contractors or MTC's
Construction phase
- Project manage large roll-out schemes maintenance schemes, or 'one-off' projects
- Undertake contract administrator role
- Monitor quality and completion of works on site
- Manage CDM aspects of the works
Projects include:
- Large 'Decent Homes' programmes including kitchen and bathrooms for HA's
- Extensive external repairs and maintenance to Jarvis Hotels
- Roll-out programme for over-cladding school roofs for Wiltshire County Council
- Programmed approach to window/screen replacement to Police stations in Wiltshire
- Reviewing planned maintenance programmes and life cycle funding for financial institutions for PFI type projects
