A professional department providing general structural advice, including design, feasibility studies, building defects and assisting clients in assessing and controlling structural aspect of projects.

The structural engineering discipline offers a broad a range of professional structural engineering advice both within the Ridge teams and directly for Clients.

The department has a wide range of experience of various types of buildings including new and existing commercial, retail, educational, domestic and industrial structures.

We offer general structural advice including:

Design for alterations and refurbishment of listed and historic buildings
Design for new works and alterations to existing industrial buildings, including special foundations for plant and machinery
Feasibility studies for structural works
Reporting on building defect of a structural nature including monitoring of movements
Design of repairs relating to building defects
Structural design and advice relating to alterations to commercial, industrial and domestic buildings
