With the Ridge Twitter account up and running for just over a month now, the ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ Twitter campaign by Save the Children was the perfect event to get involved with. This was a great chance to raise money for a good cause and it gave the Ridge Team the added bonus of feeling festive!
The Oxford office took part on Friday December 13th where there were Christmas jumpers in all shapes and sizes; from jumpers with baubles sewn on, to snowmen and multicoloured reindeer, there was every jumper imaginable…including one with working fairy lights!
With money being raised by staff alongside a raffle and cake sale, everyone was contributing in their own way. In addition, our Bristol, Reading and London offices also took part this week by wearing their Christmas jumpers to help raise more money for charity.
The Oxford office alone raised £279 for Save the Children. The campaign was a lovely way to help raise money and was an overall success with the event trending on Twitter all day; hundreds of companies all over the UK were able to be involved and raise money for charity.
With Christmas nearly here; on behalf of everyone from Ridge, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
