North Hertfordshire College, Stevenage

The College site occupies a strategic gateway to the town centre and originally comprised over 20 1950's and 60's buildings which were energy inefficient and largely inaccessible for the disabled.
The College's property strategy is to improve the quality of their accommodation whilst reducing costs by removing surplus, expensive or inflexible buildings. We have assisted the College to re-develop the site and construct a new state-of-the art 7,000 sq m three-storey college building along with various environmental and infrastructure improvements. The IT system included computer white boards, and video links to accommodate the latest teaching methods.
