Berrill Building

Open University Framework

Following the successful completion of the eye-catching Jennie Lee Building, Ridge has been appointed directly as sole supplier on a 3-year Capital Projects Framework. Projects being carried out under the Framework agreement include:

Berrill Building

The Berrill Building is the reception facility for the Walton Hall Campus. It accommodates the University Reception, café, Department offices and meeting rooms. The Client took the opportunity to improve ongoing maintenance facilities and improve the internal working environments for the end user. Ridge designed and ran a fully-functional thermal model, the results of which provided the strategy for upgrading the control systems and provision of new external solar shading which will dramatically improve the internal environment.
