Printing press and binding facility, Bicester
Goodhead decided to extend their printing and binding facilities after securing a contract to print a major UK weekly title. A new 25,000 sq ft building was constructed to accommodate the new Web Offset machinery which was shipped in from overseas, and existing workspace was refurbished and strengthened to take the load of the new equipment.
Completing the building to programme was key to the project's success, the critical date being the delivery of the new machines to allow assembly, commissioning and test print runs prior to the contract going live.
