A: Yes we do, we have a growing team in the Winchester office
Q: What do Ridge Traffic & Transport undertake in supporting development proposals?
A: We provide a full range of Transport Planning Services from Scoping Report through Transport Notes / Statements and Assessments to Travel Plans and Travel Plan Co-ordinator roles encompassing feasibility studies, site and access appraisals, traffic modelling and support to master planning, environmental statements and SOCA’s.
Q: At what stage in a project should Traffic & Transport be involved?
A: Traffic & Transport have a role through all RIBA stages – during 1/2 initial design inputs and the scoping of the transport requirements with the local Highway Authority; at Stages 3/4 as well as ongoing design support, the preparation of the transport assessment / travel plan to support the planning application; Stages 5/6 in providing assistance with the conclusion of Section 278 / Section 106 Agreements together with the review and discharging of planning conditions; and Stage 7 providing ongoing support in the Travel Plan process including fulfilling the role of Travel Plan Co-ordinator.
