An Accolade for Reading Project Manager

Not content with running with the Olympic torch in 2012, Jonathan Poole an Associate in the Ridge Reading office, was the proud recipient in December of West Berkshire District Councils “Volunteer of the Year” award for 2014.

This award followed a voting panel’s decision based upon a submission from a parent that noted: ‘The judging panel was very impressed by the extraordinary nomination you submitted. The contribution made by Mr. Poole in setting up and running Bucklebury Wolves FC is outstanding and has created a wonderful community spirit amongst those who take part. It is clear from your nomination that Mr Poole is a great leader and role model and is very well respected by everyone he works with. A very worth winner indeed!

The Club, started by Jonathan eight years ago has grown from 1 coach and 12 players to 16 coaches, 125 players in six teams covering school year Reception to Year 8 and is free to enter and participate.

A huge congratulations to Jonathan from everyone at Ridge!
