Ridge & Partners Moves to New Liverpool Office to Accommodate Further Growth

01 July 2019

The Liverpool office of property and construction consultants Ridge and Partners has been expanded by 50 per cent to cope with current and projected growth in work volumes.

The 34-strong multidiscipline team has moved across the landing to new Grade A offices in Exchange Flags, taking 4,712 sq ft at the Brukaros-owned complex.  The move allows the firm to accommodate a number of contract staff helping deliver major projects whilst providing wider room for growth and more comfortable client and staff facilities, says partner Jason Howard.

“We have a strong forward order book across a wide range of disciplines and the move provides us with the type of space we need to maintain our growth whilst serving our clients efficiently,” said Howard.

The Liverpool office is currently project managing the refurbishment of the city’s famous India Buildings as well as advising developers Ask, Langtree, Dandara and Himor and major industrial clients such as Airbus and Jaguar Land Rover.

“The spread of work across disciplines and sectors gives us a very solid base as a business and means we have deep expertise that can lend itself to a wide range of construction challenges,” said Howard.  “Whilst there are headwinds out there we’re looking at 2019 with a great deal of optimism.”

Ridge’s headcount across its Liverpool and Manchester offices extends to a hundred when contract staff are taken in to account.  Nationwide, the firm has more than 600 permanent staff advising clients across a range of disciplines, including project management, building surveying, civil and structural engineering, expert witness services and cost management.
