Stanhope Gate, Private Residence, London

One of the most exclusive boroughs in London, Mayfair is renowned for its mix of period and contemporary properties. 10 Stanhope Gate is a Grade II listed property built in 1757 during the reign of George II, close to Hyde Park. The building was historically used as office space and Ridge was enlisted to convert the property into a luxurious 21st Century home. The project required meticulous planning to ensure that the period features of the building were protected and showcased.

During the project the six-storey property’s living space was increased from 9,000ft2 to 12,000ft2 and a new basement, pool, spa and cinema area was built. Utilising the latest design technology, the project seamlessly combined contemporary comfort with the charms of the property’s historical origins, creating a luxurious and generous residential property.
