Traffic & Transportation Team Continues to Grow at Ridge

The Traffic and Transportation team within Ridge continue to actively seek to expand their offer to both internal and external clients.

Ridge provide a range of transport planning and engineering advice and services ranging in scope from master-planning and feasibility studies to integrated transport systems and travel plans, designing transport infrastructure and improvement schemes fro both public and private sectors.

Involved in schemes at all stages from the initial concept through to design and implementation – Ridge work in collaboration with planners, developers, engineers as well as operators in order to develop and negotiate appropriate solutions.

Ken Dudley (Associate) who leads the Traffic and Transportation team at Ridge has over 40 years’ experience in Town Planning and Transportation Planning within both the public and private sector of the development industry, with particular experience within Highways Development Control including assessment of major development proposals also involving negotiation of off-site highway works and financial contributions. Ken also offers broad experience in relation to the review and assessment of development proposals from both the local authority and private sector points of view.

In addition to Ken, the team welcomes Megan and Oliver who join us after completing their BSC in Geography at the University of Portsmouth, with experience in GIS software’s, database management, environmental assessment and qualitative and quantitative research techniques. Both Megan and Oliver are looking forward to furthering their experience with Ridge and studying part time for their MSC in Transport Planning next year.
